Meet Kirk and Carla, the sweetest couple you could ever meet. When we sat down to talk about their wedding and begin to plan all their special details like their engagement shoot, they thought it would be a great idea to go on a little adventure throughout Dallas. We started our day in Deep Ellum where Kirk wanted to go to one of their favorite pubs! From there we walked around downtown until we found some spots that would look super cute for photos. We stopped for them to grab a drink where we came across these super funny horse hats and we thought, what the heck, lets take a photo! I love little moments like that, that make a session unique and original. As we saw the sun was starting to go down we decided we were going to head over to the lake and get some photos with the sun setting. The sunset was really one of a kind that night. In my engagement shoots I really strive to capture genuine smiles, and interaction. You can see that here, where their shoot was full of laughs and fun. We finished their session on a rooftop, the sun had completely set, but there isn't anything quite like those city lights shining behind you. Cheers to this one of a kind love, I can't wait to capture their big day.
